The Wedding of Ben & Danielle Johnson, The Merewood Hotel, Windermere

 
Back again at The quaint Merewood Hotel what I love about this venue apart from many others is not only the large room they provide the bride & the quantity/ quality of light (which as any photographer will verify improves the variety of pictures you can take) but the fanstatic views taking in Winderemere lake and the Langdales behind.
Danielle looked fabulous with her '20's style veil on and carried it off brilliantly all day long. I just love something as daring as this because in many ways it guides me to photograph the wedding a certain way - in this case retro. Many couples that get married in The Lake District, such as Ben & Danielle travelled  a distance - Hertfordshire to tie the knot in possibly the most picturesque part of the UK.

Up on the M6 again this time to The Merewood Hotel again, I was last there in May, obviously the light levels were lower, so we had to work a bit faster. (Jane) or Boo her nic-name looked beautiful in her HollyWood Dreams wedding dress.
